Blogging Workshop

Become a blogger!

(Or find out more about blogging).

Don’t miss 4TM’s latest workshop which will explain blogging, the business benefits and how to avoid potential pitfalls. Leave the workshop with your own blog and the ability to update and control it.

Blogs are read by the majority of Internet users; they present a huge opportunity to connect with customers or like minded people. But what should you write on a blog? How do you keep control of it? How much does it cost? How can you interact and take advantage of other people’s blogs?

This workshop is business focused, hands-on and in plain English. It is aimed at both business and personal users.

Cost is £85 + VAT and includes lunch, course materials and a certificate.  Monday 24th of November, 10am - 1pm. 4TM Training Centre, Horizon Scotland, Forres IV36 2AB.

    Hi

I enjoyed your talk at the MSBC a few days ago, and I am interested in your workshop Monday 24th.

I could probably do it myself but there is benefit in not having to reinvent the wheel.

Will you cover how to (automatically?) send notification by email with the blog contents to an email list whenever a blog is updated?

Another option for me might be to piggy back on a CMS system such as Joomla or Drupal.

    Cheers
I am also interested in whether to set up a sub-domain for the blog, or even a separate domain, for SEO purposes?

    Many thanks for your comments.

Hilda: We’re making no assumptions about prior knowledge and will tailor the exercises to the group. There will be lots of personal advice and help.

Lynn: Look forward to seeing you.

John: We can certainly cover all the topics you mention - very interesting points! We’re going to keep the numbers quite small so there’s a bit of consultation built in.

If you haven’t already, could you complete the very simple form here - it helps us track numbers for Horizon Scotland (the venue):

    Best wishes,
    See you on Monday,
    David.
