Highland Tourism Business Workshop To Build Social Media Presence

CairngormsA workshop involving over 50 local tourism industry leaders will be held on Wednesday, led by 4TM Social Media and Aviemore and the Cairngorms Destination Management.

Over 5 hours, business owners will learn about social media and its impact on tourism. More importantly, there will be real-world demonstrations of how to use the tools.

David Sim, from 4TM, said: “It’s important  that participants leave with their own action plan; we’re not just going to tell about the huge changes facing the industry through social media. We’re going to illustrate practical steps businesses can take to move forward to make this a positive transformation for the local area”.

TripAdvisor now has over 30 million users per month; Facebook has grown from 100 million users to 150 million users in just 4 months.

Similar workshops are planned for other areas – contact us for further information.
