Inverness Tweet up

Rene has been talking about organising a Tweet up for months and last Friday the 19th of June the first Inverness Tweet up was a fact! The Kingsmills hotel in Inverness very kindly offered the room for free and laid on a fantastic spread of tapas. Only seven people showed up but we had 147 people watching it online over a 2 hour period. We even had a “tweeter” over from London who made an extra effort to join us at the Kingsmills hotel.

There was a great atmosphere and it was great to meet people we tweet with on a daily basis in real life! Officialy the Inverness Tweet up was from 7-9pm but we left the hotel at 11pm!

See below some of the pictures. There has already been suggestions that we should do this more often and we’ve already had offers to host future Tweet ups at different locations. Let us know what you think.

Thanks to Marc of MorayFirthLive who wrote a nice article in preparation of the event.

Special thanks to Craig, Mark and rest of the team of the Kingsmills hotel. Everything was excellent and the food fantastic!
