HOW TO: Use Twitter’s Advanced Search Features

Another great Mashable article on the power of Twitter search.

I use the Seesmic Twitter application myself with different keywords enabling me to connect with like minded people that tweet about “Tourism”, “Whisky”, “Speyside”, “Moray”, “Inverness” and of course “Social media” When discussing social media and Twitter with businesses and organisations I always make them aware of this search feature as this can enable them to keep an eye on their online reputation but even more important to improve their customer service.

It has never been so easy for businesses to connect with their online customers, asking for feedback, react on negative comments, product development are just a few possibilities that are now easy and cost effective (meaning cheap!) to implement for any organisation. The only thing that’s needed is a change in management mind-set….
